A superb luxury seaside apartment with excellent secluded balcony enjoying lovely sea and valley views, situated on the second and third floors of a Grade II listed house, formerly the Pole Arms Hotel, in the heart of this popular town of SeatonExcellent holiday situation with just a 2-minute walk to the magnificent mile long beach for swimming, water sports or just lazing in a deck chair.  Stroll along the Esplanade and admire the views of the cliffs and Jurassic coastline with coastal footpaths to Lyme Regis in one direction and the picturesque fishing village of Beer in the other.  Local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are all to hand.  The pretty Axe Harbour with yacht club is a 10-minute walk away.  Watch the famous tramway travel along the valley passing Seaton Marshes and Nature Reserves stopping off at Colyford and small market town of Colyton. 

The coastal towns of Lyme Regis 'the pearl of Dorset' with famous Cobb of the French Lieutenants fame and Sidmouth 'the quintessential English seaside resort are a 10-minute drive away.  The small thriving market town of Axminster, famous for the Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall 'River Cottage Canteen', shops and weekly street market is also a 10-minute drive away.

20th – 29th August 2017  Thank you for such a lovely stay. Just like everyone else says “this is a lovely apartment in a great location.”

Places we loved and things we did:  Walk along coast path to Beer.  Fish and chips in Beer (quite pricey but delicious and fresh).  Mackerel fishing from Beer (1 hr £8 adults, £6 children) and yes we caught mackerel. Deep sea fishing from Beer (£25 pp) – 4 hour trip, caught Gurnard, Sea Bream, Whiting and Congor Eel!  Paddle boarding (£10 hr) and kayaking (£12 hr) Seaton seafront, wet suits included!  Lyme Regis – lovely little town with little shops and sandy beach, but very, very busy and difficult to park.  Sidmouth Donkey sanctuary – a great place to visit, 250 donkeys, free entrance. Such a great cause.  Walk through Seaton Wetlands to Colyton (via Colyford) and get Seaton Tramway back.  Shopping in Exeter – loads of shops – use park and ride.  Harbour Inn at Axmouth – friendly welcome, nice food.  Burger restaurant opposite entrance to Tesco – fantastic quality and prices, homemade on the premises. 12th – 19th August 2017  Thank you for the fantastic apartment – we’ve had a brilliant week in Seaton with great weather!  The location is ideal, there are two supermarkets close by, many places to eat and plenty of “touristy” shops too.  Cliff View is well equipped and it is evident a lot of thought has gone into it, particularly the decorating (very stylish!).  All in all a wonderful week and we hope to return.  Kind regards Tracy, Duncan and Emma Bennett. 

5th – 12th August 2017  This is the most beautiful apartment we could have dreamed of. Don’t change it!  We will certainly try to come back one day.  Thank you very much    Christel Lembke- Davies.

May 20th – 27th 2017  An ideal location for exploring East Devon and a very comfortable place to live. We loved the views.  We found free wifi in Seventeen coffee shop with good coffee and a pretty outside garden and The Malt House with good “pub grub”.  We recommend Forde Abbey and Burrow Farm Gardens – lovely places.  We took the tram to Colyton and walked back through to Seaton wetlands.  We like the Wild Caper for tapas – The Elks’s.

16-23rd July 2016  Fantastic apartment and good location. Plenty to see and do in the local area. 9-15 July 2016  Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Great views from the lovely balcony .Seaton very nice, museum interesting, tramway excellent and good value.  Went to the Malt House 3 times and enjoyed every meal (just down the road), saves driving . A good pub grub at good prices.  Would definitely recommend Seaton and apartment both very nice.  Linda Higgs and Steven Knight.

June 2016  Dear Julia and Steve, We’ve enjoyed a fantastic week in your comfortable stylish well-equipped, light and airy apartment- a real home from home.  The views from the balcony are superb and the location is perfect for exploring the local area and walking into Axmouth for dinner. Both the Harbour Inn and the Ship are excellent. Sidmouth and Lyme Regis very interesting and the tramway is great.  Lots still to go here and we will be back.  Alan and Barbara Morgan
