Additional parking in nearby local Council town car park, a 5-minute walk away, reasonably priced weekly ticket £25 which entitles you to park in other East Devon District Council car parks. Less than a week Council parking charges are: 2 days £12, 3 days £15 and 4 days £20.
Saturday changeover. Arrival: From 2 pm. Departure: By 10 am. Two small pets welcome, a fixed charge of £25 pw each pet. No smoking in property please. £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit payable with balance.
NB: Babies (not mobile) and children 4+ years welcome. Fledglings is not suitable for toddlers. Access information available on request.
Location and Area:
An excellent holiday situation with the magnificent mile long beach and bay only a couple of minutes walk away – ideal for swimming, water sports or just lazing in a deck chair. Conveniently just a 2-minute stroll to the supermarket, café, restaurant and famous tramway, a little further to the local shops and a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Stroll along the Esplanade and admire the views of the cliffs and Jurassic coastline with coastal footpaths to Lyme Regis through the Undercliff in one direction or in the other direction to the picturesque fishing village of Beer with Quarry Caves and Pecorama model railway/pleasure gardens with Play Barn.
The popular coastal towns of Sidmouth passing by the famous Donkey Sanctuary at Weston and Lyme Regis are both a 15-minute drive away. Charmouth with a Heritage Coast Centre is famous for fossil hunting. An ideal seaside home to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Lovely house, well located with plenty of room inside. We stayed at Fledglings for a week to celebrate our wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is well equipped and nicely furnished with lots of room inside. The sea and promenade is a very short walk from the house and Seaton is nice to wander around (if a little dated). The owners kindly left us a card and gift on our anniversary which was very thoughtful and made this holiday stay like a home from home. Thank you. June 2018
