We stayed at The Pillar Barn over The New Year period. The property was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need. We wanted a quiet break with the dog and this was achieved. The owners provided firelighters and wood for the lovely log burner. The underfloor heating throughout made it feel even cosier. A large secure outside space was perfect for the dog with lots of nearby long walks to tire him out. Small supermarket is a mile away and 2 pubs serving food within half a mile. Other reviews have mentioned problems with refuse collection, we had no problem as clear instructions are provided regarding recycling and where to put what. This is imposed by the council not the owners! We would definitely stay at The Pillar Barn again. A home from home. 2018
