The Lounge: is impressively large with bay window giving a superb panoramic outlook over Seafield Gardens, Victorian Clock Tower and bowling green with sea views of Lyme Bay beyond, decorative cast iron fireplace. It has rustic oak furniture including a comfortable full size double Futon sofa bed, dining table and chairs.

The Kitchen: has period style oak units with a granite bistro table and chairs. The tall window also captures the southerly sea views and outlook over Seafield Gardens also including the Jurassic themed 9 hole adventure golf and tennis courts.

The Bedroom:  Another impressively large, most comfortable, cosy, light and bright room with bay window and period chandelier. Rustic oak furniture includes a King size bed with memory foam sprung mattress and floor standing full length mirror, TV.

The Bathroom: Bath with over-bath rainfall shower and hand held shower, basin, WC, large heated towel rail. Shaver point.

Location and Area:

Jubliee Gardens are an undiscovered gem, with amphitheatre styled seating area, Victorian Clock Tower and ornamental pond with well-established shrubs and plants. Seafield Gardens include a glass house with many varieties of cacti, an outdoor gym, Bowling Green, Jurassic themed 9 hole adventure golf and tennis courts.

Seaton is set at the mouth of the River Axe and has a spectacular mile long beach with Esplanade, Harbour, standup paddle boarding, Golf course and is home to 3 nature reserves, The Jurassic Coast Centre, The Tramway and Seaton Wetlands. A variety of small independent shops, supermarkets, a selection of restaurants, public houses and cafes are all close at hand.

An ideal location for walkers with the stunning south west coastal footpath which takes you along the Jurassic coast over the cliff tops to the pretty unspoilt fishing village of Beer with its Quarry Caves, Pecorama Model Railway and pleasure gardens. Branscombe is a picturesque village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is said to be the longest in the country. Its charm lies in the tranquillity and almost complete lack of development, with the famous 700-year-old award winning Mason’s Arms Inn, The National Trust Old Bakery Tea Rooms, Mill, museum, working forge and second traditional inn ‘The Fountain Head’ serving good food and local brews.

The south west coastal path also takes you all the way to Lyme Regis or by car it is only a 15 minute drive away and is known as ‘The Pearl of Dorset’ and has now been awarded world heritage site status famous worldwide for its geology and fossil finds.

The famous Donkey Sanctuary at Weston, near Sidmouth is a working farm open 365 days a year and is home to donkeys, mules and hinnies and they love meeting new people!

The small thriving market town of Axminster is only a 15-minute drive away and is set on the River Axe within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is filled with traditional charm and character and famous for Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Canteen’ and weekly street market.

An ideal relaxing holiday retreat for exploring the delights of this pretty area, throughout the year.

Very, very nice. It is a quality apartment. Spacious with large rooms and high ceilings and furnished beautifully. Very comfortable. The entrance to the building is a little worn so the apartment is a lovely surprise. It is literally minutes from the front or town centre with a view of the sea beyond the bowling green and clock tower at the front. The car park is just behind the apartment which is very convenient. Although it is officially a “short stay” a weekly ticket is available which can be used in additional listed car parks. We left the car there for several days and used the buses to Lyme Regis, Beer etc. This is a perfect base for a holiday. 2018
