Great barn, very comfortable. Very enjoyable stay! November 2018:
The house is great, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is great. The weather was awesome too. We were so glad to come. Everything was fine. The games were fun too, Monopoly was played the most. We hope to come again for a third time. We probably will come again because it is awesome!" October 2018
Very comfortable barn. Lovely week! October 2018
A lovely repeat visit, such a great place to stay. August 2018
Lovely quiet barn, although we never found out how to turn the heating off so a little warm. Also the addition of a hairdryer would be welcome. All in all a lovely stay and lots of beautiful places locally to visit. August 2018
We stayed at The Pillar Barn over The New Year period. The property was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need. We wanted a quiet break with the dog and this was achieved. The owners provided firelighters and wood for the lovely log burner. The underfloor heating throughout made it feel even cosier. A large secure outside space was perfect for the dog with lots of nearby long walks to tire him out. Small supermarket is a mile away and 2 pubs serving food within half a mile. Other reviews have mentioned problems with refuse collection, we had no problem as clear instructions are provided regarding recycling and where to put what. This is imposed by the council not the owners! We would definitely stay at The Pillar Barn again. A home from home. 2018
