Customer Reviews:

5-19 August 2017  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a wonderful house. Our 2 year old thought the back lawn was heaven. Parking always an issue in coastal towns but the house, made up for that. Used the tram many times but local visits were equally entertaining. The welcome pack and flowers were much appreciated. Would certainly think about coming back and would recommend to others.  Susan, Roy, Wendy, Daniel and Finlay (aged 2 )  Leeds

29 July – 5th August 2017  Thank you for the welcome gift and flowers. Dalmose is a lovely large house and fully equipped. The garden was lovely. Overall a good holiday.  Zoe, Simon, Hannah, Rosie, Roy, Cynthia and Layla

22-29 July 2017  Thank you very much for the welcome gift and the flowers. We had a very nice week in your lovely house which we will highly recommend. We hope to come back one day. Thank youChristine Wolff and family - Germany

1-8th July 2017  Wonderful week spent in this lovely house. Thank you for the welcome gifts. Field at the top of Roman Way is perfect for dog walking, completely enclosed and less than 1 mile away.  Cliff and Michelle McGinley

24 June – 1st July 2017  Our second stay at Dalmose and just like home from home. Such a joy to find this cosy and clean, convenient home to stay in. Our 2 little terriers love it here so much. Shame about the weather but we can’t change that. Thanks again for lovely welcome pack and well done for all your hard work to provide such a lovely holiday home for us all to enjoy.  Maura and Richard Woollard and Teddy (JRT) and Roger (Yorkie).  P.S. What lovely friendly neighbours you have.

17-24 June 2017  We three young pensioners stayed here for the week so that we could spend time with our 93 year old mother who lives up the road. Dalmose has proved a perfect place to bring her down her for leisurely lunches and to rest on the comfy sofas. So cool and airy on what has proved to be an extremely hot week – 30 degrees at the beginning.

Many thanks for the welcome pack and the vase of flowers. We hope to come again in the not too distant future.  Margaret, David and Hester.

27th May – 2nd June 2017  We had a stunning time here. The beds were comfy and the garden was amazing especially for our bulldog puppy Albert. We all had a lovely stay here. Great house and garden for our holiday. The only downside is the small driveway for a large house. Weather was good. Thank you for the welcome pack, very nice.  Karen, Jonny, Amber, Bella and Albert (the dog) from Oxford.

April 2017  Lovely sunny week spent in Seaton.  Dalmose was a very spacious and comfortable place to stay.  Very well equipped and tastefully finished.  Eating breakfast on the patio in the sunshine was a lovely bonus!  The gift pack of cake and tea

8-29th October 2016  We have spent a very enjoyable 3 weeks at Dalmose. Family and friends who visited were delighted with how comfortable and well equipped the house was. Phoebe, the do made good use of the large, secure garden.  We did lots of walking as the weather was great for October and we also used the local transport to Sidmouth and Lyme.  Bridport market (Sat and Wed)  is worth a visit and West Bay (Broadchurch) is  a must on a good day.  Janice B, Phoebe and family and friends. The first guests staying at Dalmose, May 2015.

'We promised to let you have some feedback on the property. Basically we were extremely happy with the property which was very well equipped, tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished. We felt very pleased to be the first occupants after its superb refurbishment. A refreshing change from the collapsed sofas, junk shop cast-offs and only five of cutlery, glasses and crockery of so many holiday properties! It was obvious that much thought and care had gone into getting the property ready and it showed in so many ways.

The well enclosed rear garden is excellent and safe for either well behaved pets or small children and the neighbours on the eastern side of the property were extremely nice, helpful and informative in our conversations.   The property is centrally placed for many easy days and we had some excellent trips, the Donkey Sanctuary, the walk to Beer and the beach at Charmouth being highlights.'   Best Regards,  PA and DP 23rd May to 30th May 2015 (Extract from email sent to Milkbere and Derek & Lorna, the owners of Dalmose).
