Most delightful house situated in a Mews, close to the Axe Harbour, in the popular seaside town of Seaton. Excellent holiday situation, only a couple of minutes walk to the magnificent seafront and mile long beach with Esplanade.

Conveniently just over 5 minute level stroll to the local shops, two supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants and all amenities with yacht club and cliff top golf course nearby. Superb walks along the closeby South West Coast Path to Lyme Regis with famous Cobb and in the other direction to the quaint picturesque fishing village of Beer, further on to Branscombe and Sidmouth.  Walk along by the River Axe to pretty village of Axmouth, one mile away with two local inns. Nearby is the famous Seaton tramway, which runs along the beautiful River Axe and Valley (a bird watcher's paradise) to Colyford and market town of Colyton.  An ideal holiday location throughout the year.

Parking:  Allocated parking space for one car to the rear of the Mews, plus visiting parking on a 'first come first served basis'.  Also parking in nearby local car park, 5 minute walk away, reasonably priced weekly ticket £25 which entitles you to park in other East Devon District Council car parks.  Less than a week Council parking charges are: 2 days £12, 3 days £15 and 4 days £20.

Christmas 2017.  We have just returned from a fantastic week at Harbour Mews. Three families shared the house over the Christmas week and had a fabulous time. The house easily slept the eight of us and each room was extremely well appointed – even down to the kitchen scales in the kitchen! There was ample space in the bedrooms and the bathrooms were spacious with very good showers. Access to the beach, harbour, town and a large Tesco’s was all within a short walking distance. We enjoyed walks along the promenade at any time of day stopping for coffee and tea at the many cafes open, even over the Christmas period. The Milkbere office staff were extremely helpful and welcoming both before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this venue for a family holiday or short break.  Jackie and family. 

1.1.2017  We know Seaton well having lived here for 6 years in 2005. We used the house for a family get together for a week including New Year. Comfortable and warm through the house.  All in all it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.  Chris Lenka and family – Spain and England

4.9.15  Had a lovely holiday. House was very clean, well equipped and along the beach beyond the estuary is lovely.  The Malt House serves very nice food and is very friendly. Good days out include, Pecorama Railway and The Donkey Sanctuary.  We made use of the crabbing lines and buckets- great fun. Branscombe worth a visit.  Have lunch at the Masons Arms and walk to the beach where there is also a lovely café serving breakfast, cream teas and meals.  Thank you for a great stay.  The Seal family

22-29 August 2015  We’ve had a lovely week and enjoyed the trams, putting, River Cottage Canteen, The Shed. Beer is worth a browse. Wish we were here for Carnival week as it looks great.  The Axtells.

An excellent base, Aug 2015, Ami  Spotless, convenient, plenty of beach equipment in cupboards eg body-boards, chairs. Also saw baby equipment, so no need to overload your car.
