We had a lovely holiday.  Rya aged 5 and Kane 2

3-10 June 2017

Enjoyed our week here in Beer. Lots to do and see. Well worth walking the coastal paths, though walking can be tough due to steepness of the hills. Use bus service to start, walk home and allow plenty of time to rest and enjoy the fine views.

Recommend a return trip on Seaton Tramway, good fun for adults and children alike. Visit Colyton historic small town, tea places, impressive medieval church- St Andrews.

Sidmouth is well worth a visit, excellent resort, great and many interesting small shops. Nice warm swimming pool. If weather is nice no better place.

Lyme Regis is also a great half day out, easy to get to and very popular. Nice walks and good shops.

We will return and stay nearby. Seasalt Cottage is ideal, well equipped and spacious modern and well maintained. 2 bathrooms is also a plus. Nice and quiet and homely.  Danny and Barbara – Welwyn Garden City

A great fortnight with wonderful weather spent in this lovely cute cottage. Clean comfortable and well equipped, in a perfect location. We hardly needed a car. We enjoyed many good meals at the Anchor. Enjoy a lunch in their garden on a sunny day.  The Gales, Picton. New Zealand

We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage. Perfectly equipped and so well located, calm but in the centre of the nice village too. There’s no better place.

Our first holiday outside of Germany and we are so lucky. Thank you for this “home”.

6-13 August 2016

We’ve had an amazing time at Beer because for the weather that has been brilliant and we came at the right time. It was Regatta week and we have been to all sorts of places.

We went to the beach, park, watched fireworks on regatta day, walked to Pecorama, Seaton and Branscombe.  We also went to Lyme Regis on the open top bus and went on the tram from Seaton to Colyford.

See you next year.

Thanks Beer

Perfect cottage and lovely to be near the sea. Though it was April we still had a paddle in the sea. I recommend the Beer Quarry Caves and Lyme Regis. Perfect weather to go kite flying. The Donkey Sanctuary was amazing too.
