The Counting House is a stunning new conversion from a 1870 Victorian town house, (formerly a Bank) into four superb luxury apartments (Sterling, Crown, Sovereign and Florin), situated right in the heart of the popular seaside town of Seaton, Devon.   These beautiful apartments are located in the Square with local shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and two supermarkets all to hand.  Only a minute's walk to the seafront, Esplanade, with mile long beach.  The pretty Axe Harbour is an easy 10 minute level walk away and the golf course a little further. Just a short walk to the South West Coast Path, in one direction to the picturesque fishing village of Beer, a little further to Branscombe and the opposite direction to Lyme Regis with famous Cobb and excellent selection of specialist shops.  A little further onto Charmouth with the Heritage Coast Centre offering fossil hunting walks, rock pool rambles and special marine events. 

The small thriving market town of Axminster, famous for the Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall 'River Cottage Canteen', shops and weekly street market is a 15 minute drive. Ideally positioned to attend the River Cottage courses, weekend dining and special events at Park Farm, only 15 minute drive.  A unique, most convenient and relaxing location for exploring the delights of this pretty area.

Additional information:  Friday changeover.  Regret no pets.  No smoking in property please. £100 returnable good housekeeping deposit.  This is paid with the final balance and returned in full unless there are charges for breakage, damage and excess cleaning.

We highly recommend this flat, totally refurbished and very convenient to all of Seaton.  Nice beach, lovely butchers, bakery and cafes.  The Shed is very good and coastal crafts do lots of classes like painting on silk and knitting.

The open topped bus called The Mule is a good day out.  The staff at Milkbere Cottage Holidays were very friendly and helpful.  Thank you all.  The Mayhew family.
